Dr. Qu graduated from China’s Jilin College in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Arithmetic and went on to get a Master of Science diploma and Ph.D. from Northwestern College in Theoretical and Utilized Mechanics in 1984 and 1987, respectively. His research focuses on a number of parts of theoretical and used mechanics, topics in which he has authored/co-authored two books, 15 guide chapters and over 220+ refereed journal papers.
